Berenice, changed mind, tries to make Diego to forgive her, but he makes her clear that the only woman he loves is Paloma. Paloma starts her work in the hotel trying to get some money.The supervisor of Paloma makes her lots of trouble. Not only this, she goes late in her work in the hotel and the supervisor of Paloma finds the opportunity to fire her. The economical situation of Paloma is too bad and she owes to many people. Soledad is sad learning that Paloma was hired and that she spent her money to buy clothes. Paloma tells her that she bought the clothes so as to be well-looking and to find easier work in the company. After many tries Paloma succeeds to meet Fabian. He's looking that he has every qualification he needed to have and hires her. When Barbara learns from Fabian's secretary for Paloma's hiring, she makes everything to be fired. Paloma works in the reception of El Cafetalero, but Fabian needs her more so as to be able to have her lovers inside without noone can noes. Berenice tries not to be influenced from what Aurelio tells her, and she tries to make Diego love her. Barbara continues trying Paloma to be fired. She and a secretary of Fabian blame her for stealing a valuable statue from Fabian's office. Fabian is sure that Paloma is not a thief but he tells her that he needs to fire her, but Paloma tries to make her to keep her in the work. Berenice desides to leave Diego and the ranch, but she hopes that until the last moment he will try to prevent her, but, so disappointing, he doesn't do anything. Matilde pleases Jeremy to leave away from his uncle's ranch, but she refuses to tell him why she wants to do so. Margarita is hired as a receptionist, in the position of Paloma. Diego orderds Juancho to find immediately Paloma, and bring her near to him, because he will get mad. Barbara doesn't feel good with Paloma working in El Cafetalero as a private secreatary of Fabian, and while they are talking, she tells her not to try to use her husband so as to have a better position in the company. Everyone are trying to talk to Diego by telephone, but he doesnt want to talk to anyone. Berenice tells her parents that she desided to take divorce with Diego, and stay friends, but her father asks her to try to win some money from him. Paloma meets Mr Latore so as to inform him about the company.After this she talks with her teacher, Miguel, and she asks him to help her organise some valuable elements. Graciela puts the blame on Paloma for the stealing of some secret files of the company. Jeremy is angry seeing Matilde hit in the face. Diego desides not to take part in the meeting of El Cafetalero, so as not to hear anything because he took divorce from Berenice. Paloma and her mother are moving to a new and comfortable appartment.The young woman with the help of Fabian are making something that will surprise Fabian. But soom he learns the secret of Matilde, so everything changes. Paloma is sad learning that Diego and Berenice are together a couple. Jeremy desices to turn back to his country. Diego tells to Juancho to stop searching for Paloma. Fabian goes on with his ambitious plan despite the refusals of some in the company. Angela visits the angry Barbara and gives her suggestion on how will she make her husband happy. Berenice tries to wake up the love in her relationship with Diego. Fabian tries to kiss Paloma. She slaps him, and after this she announces him that she will leave the company. Diego and Diana are thinking that it would be a good idea to call the woman who helps Fabian in the company, without knowing that she is Paloma.
