A photographer takes photos of Fabian and Marsia. When Barbara sees the pictures, she gets angry with Fabian. He tries to make her believe that he doesn't have any kind of relationsip with that woman. Barbara is so angry that because of her nerves, she hurts in her stomache. She goes into the hospital but doctors can't save her baby. Fabian is shocked by this fact. He is forced not to go in the company, but Paloma undertakes the rains of the company and she goes perfect. The local cïmmetee of producers of coffe asks Diego to represent them in the yearly council of the mexicanproducers of coffee. Paloma has a fight with Diego by phone. He doesn't recognise her. She also fires the best custom broker because in her opinion he didnt make correctly his job. Fabian goes with Berenice in her appartment and they make love. Paloma goes to the Registry office so as to change her name. Diego decides to make an advertise in the radiophone asking for workers, and he asks to have as background music "Paloma Negra", so as Paloma to listen it and go to Casa Blanca for work. When Paloma listens that Diego will come in the city for the yearly council she wants to resign. Fabian changes her mind and he makes her president of the company, for as long as he will be in the United States. Barbara learns these news from Graciela. Diego doesn't have the time to go to the memorial of Lorenzo. Aurelio makes love with Berenice and because he has remorses he wants to resign. Diego doesn't let him. Fabian announces to everyone that Paloma will take over the company, but Barbara memorises him that according to the wanting of Lorenzo this position is only for relatives. So they make Diego his substitute. The family forces Diego to be the substitute of Fabian, because he doesn't want. Fabian asks Paloma to organise a family meeting in which she will take part as well. She doesnt want and she lets Margarita to organise the meeting. Diego sees in Paloma's office the watch he had give her. Leonor believes that theres some kind of relation between Aurelio and Josefina. When finally the meeting starts, Paloma has no solution except take part in. Diego recognises her but he doesn't say anything to noone. Paloma memorises him that he is married and everything between them are finished. He tells her that he continues love her and that he is sure that she also love him. Berenice, wanting the family to believe that her marriage with Diego goes perfect, she becomes more effusive in from of the family. She tries also to seduce him but he is negative. Diego tries to find a way to talk with Paloma. When he finally makes it out he asks her if she still loves him. She doesnt answer him. Graciela informs Berenice for the interest that Diego has for 'Elena Olivares'. Julian suggests Paloma to work with him but she isn't sure for her answer. Fabian and Rafael are ready for big business. Jorge tells Fabian that Rafael isn't honest. Fabian fires Jorge because of what he told him about Rafael. When Diego learns it he gets angry and he gives Jorge again his work. Leonor watches Aurelio and Josefina kissing. Diego tries to learn if Paloma has any relationship with an other man but he doesnt find something. When he meets her he tells her that he loves her more than any other time and that he is happy for finding her. There are some problems with the workers in the ranch so Diego must to go there the soonest. Diego tells Aurelio that everything between him and Paloma are finished. Berenice tells Barbara that she and Diego agreed to make a child with techical insemination.
